About AISC Certification

AISC Certification can be a daunting task. Fabricators can do it themselves, but sometimes they seek the service of a consultant. Atema can walk you through the entire process or help you focus a specific area requiring attention.

We offer several approaches to help get your facility AISC Certified. Services include Documentation Creation, Internal Audits and a wide range of Training programs.

Atema has progressive methods to create your Quality Procedures. The most direct way is where our personnel observe your methods and processes, then modify the procedures for certification, onsite at your facility. Our remote option allows us to use a template to input your company’s specific information by scheduling a series of conference calls.

Internal Audits are performed for our clients independently by DOT Quality Services. The results are documented in detail and meet the requirements of certification and helps identify key areas for process improvement in your company. A report from the audit guides you in finding solutions when corrective actions are necessary and concerns uncovered.

Atema Training programs cover specific AISC Certification categories or can focus on essential requirements pertaining to each one. Some individual courses include Weld Inspection Training, Seismic or Pre-installation verification (Skidmore).
